What are the benefits with the X-cell™ material?
The ultrasoft and versatile material X-cell™, derivated from EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) is not rubber nor plastic but a polymer with greater softness and flexibility. It is a naturally antibacterial material, hygienic, resistent and with hardly no odor. Further the X-cell™ material molds to the feet offering a comfortable fit with relieving stress on feet, knees, hips and lower back.
The material used for suecos is so light that our shoes actually float on water. When wearing Oden, a 60% reduction in the overall muscle effort compared to standing barefoot is obtained, hence reducing fatigue and providing comfortable relief to the feet. Its an ideal shoe where prolonged standing or walking may tend to induce foot discomfort or lower body fatigue.
X-cell™ is an easy material to clean. Simply clean the shoes with soap and water or in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 50 degrees.
Will my feet sweat with suecos?
The X-cell™ should not be confused with a traditional plastic material. suecos gives the same temperature as any other material used for shoes. However, if could be said that for someone that has an excessive perspiration problem, the suecos shoes may not be the most adequate ones.
Will suecos cause any bad odor?
On the contrary - due to the natural caracteristics of the X-cell™ all our shoes resists odor, inhibit bacterial and fungal growth and are non-toxic.
How can I clean my suecos?
Simply clean with soap and water or in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 50 degrees. Ideal for use when cleanliness is important (e.g., hospitals and food preparation).
Do not expose to extreme heat (due to the softness of the material the shoe can warp).
Can I sterilize these shoes?
The shoes may be sterilized with bleach. However, the same softness of the material that causes the shoes to mold to the feet interfere with washing them in temperatures higher then 50 degrees.
However, the floors where for example surgeons work are not sterilized, and it would therefore be meaningless to clean the shoes in higher temperatures (both in a hygienic and ecologic aspect).
